Sunrise Preschool

It’s hot outside and the kids are crammed inside going crazy. Sound like a familiar scenario? A preschooler’s body’s is made to wiggle and move. Preschoolers should have at least 120 minutes of active play every day. These active times should be divided up during several play sessions throughout the day. Some ideas that you might want to try to help your preschooler are: kids’ yoga, swimming, hiking, and riding bikes. Try going in the mornings before it becomes too warm or in the evenings as it starts to cool off. Try to set goals for your preschooler to get those 120 minutes and perhaps you’ll see and improvement in your child’s quality of sleep and mood.
