“playing with Toys”

Encouraging your child to play with toys is extremely valuable, not only because toys enable children to learn about and enjoy play, but because they help promote cognitive, motor, social, and language development. Observe your child playing with toys; which ones are his favorites? What qualities of the toys does your child like (e.g., sound, textures, movement, bright colors or lights.)

Help your child benefit from play:

• Provide interesting toys. A child gets bored and frustrated if he or she is not stimulated.
• When a child is playing on his own, arrange the environment so he has opportunities to interact with interesting and appropriate toys.

Adjust the environment so he can interact appropriately with toys.

“Jugar con Juguetes”

Anime a su niño/a a que use su juguetes esto es extemadamente de valor, y esto no solo es por que les permite jugar y aprender, sino que esto promueve conocimiento, habilidades motoras, habilidades sociales y desarrollo del lenguaje. Observe a su niño/a cuando juega. Cual juguetes son sus favoritos? Que cualidades de juguetes le gustan ( ej., sonido, textura, movimiento colores encendidos o ligeros.)

Ayude a su niño/a a que se beneficie de jugar:

• Propocionele en los juguetes. Los niños se frustran si ellos no son estimulados.
• Cuando un niño/a esta jugando arregle el ambiente para que tenga oportunidad de interactuar e interesarse con juguetes apropiados.
