Sunrise Preschool

Talking in preschoolers can look different in lots of different preschoolers. Some preschoolers will talk lots and have full blown conversations with you, while others might struggle to find the words that they need to communicate their wants and needs. Often times, parents feel lost and are unsure of how to support their child. Here are a few tips to help your child gain more language: narrate your child’s day-bombard them with words and language, read, read, and read some more to your child, learn and do nursery rhymes together, and sing songs together. Children learn best through play-so try to incorporate any of these strategies into their play.
