To Our Sunrise Preschool Community,

Due to the precautionary measures of COVID-19, Governor Herbert announced that all Utah Public schools, including the Provo City School District, will continue with the “soft closure” of school buildings and online, virtual teaching for students in their home environment.  The Soft Closure will last at least until May 1, 2020.  The Utah State Board of Education is working closely with the Governor’s office to continually assess the states needs and make decisions that will support the safety of our students and community as a whole.

All teachers have been reaching out to our students and their families to set up and provide instruction via Zoom and Google Classroom. If you have not been contacted, please let us know or if you are registering a new student or have any other questions please call our office number 801-374-4915 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00 pm Monday-Friday.

For Chromebook or other technical concerns related to online schooling, feel free to reference our Tech Department web page for care, instructions and answers to some commonly asked questions.

A Nuestra Comunidad del Preescolar Sunrise,

Debido a las medidas cautelares de COVID-19, el gobernador Herbert anunció

que todas las escuelas públicas de Utah, incluido el distrito escolar de Provo City, continuarán con el “cierre parcial” de los edificios escolares y la enseñanza virtual en línea para estudiantes en su hogar. El cierre parcial durará al menos hasta el 1 de mayo de 2020.

La Junta de Educación del Estado de Utah está trabajando estrechamente con la oficina del Gobernador para evaluar continuamente las necesidades de los estados y tomar decisiones que apoyen la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes y la comunidad en general.

Todos los maestros se han comunicado con nuestros estudiantes y sus familias para establecer y proporcionar instrucciones a través de Zoom y Google Classroom. Si aún no se han contactado, háganos saber o si está registrando un nuevo estudiante o tiene alguna otra pregunta por favor llame a nuestra oficina número 801-374-4915 entre las horas de 9:00 a.m. y 3:00 p.m. de lunes a viernes.
